My story
Thirty years. Five places. One calling.
Some people find their purpose. I believe mine found me — in a classroom in Oregon, in 1993, when a four-year-old looked up from her work and said, 'I did it myself.' I have been chasing that moment ever since.
1993
My Montessori journey started among tall Douglas firs and open classrooms, where I first understood that education is not something you do to a child — it is something you create with them. I trained, I observed, I fell completely in love with the work.
Late 1990s
Living and teaching in the Dominican Republic reshaped everything I thought I knew. I learned that curiosity is universal, that joy is not a privilege, and that a beautifully prepared environment can exist anywhere — even with very little. The children there gave me more than I could ever give them.
2000s
Florida brought scale — building programs, mentoring teachers, creating curricula, and partnering with hundreds of families. I learned what it means to lead with intention, to hold a vision for a school community, and to trust the process even when it is slow.
2010s
Ohio brought me back to what I love most: the quiet, close work of one child and one family. After years of building large, I found deep satisfaction in building small — in knowing a child's rhythms, their questions, their particular way of seeing the world.
Now
Today I work with one family at a time, wherever they are. I bring thirty years of experience, a deep love of children, and the quiet conviction that every childhood deserves to be beautiful.

I am not looking for many families. I am looking for the right ones — families who believe, as I do, that childhood is not a race. That it is a season. And that seasons, tended well, become something beautiful.
